Today I visited the Springs Christian Academy Youth Parliament, and had the opportunity to address the house and bring greetings, as well as meeting their Premier and Deputy Premier. Among the discussions was a lively, and at times humourous, debate about a proposed "electric fence" between Canada and the USA. The speakers demonstrated toungue in cheek views mirroring world events.

Government has helped children somewhat with the increase of Child Tax Credit. Some parents need to start prioritizing how and where they spend their money. Seniors are a huge concern as well with the rising costs but never do I see help with much of an increase from the government for them. I honestly don't know how some of them can survive if they are widowed & only receive one pension...sad cases for our elderly.
